There are several convenient ways of getting to ‘Le Turounet’ depending on your budget and the time available:

ryan airFor speed, cost efficiency and convenience, Ryanair operates regular services from Stansted to Pau and a weekly service to Lourdes/Tarbes, as well as a summer service from Bristol to Pau. The flights take around 1 hour 40 minutes and can be booked in advance at very competitive rates.

easyjetEasyjet fly from Gatwick to Toulouse, which is a slightly longer transfer journey, but watch out for new routes, as they are constantly being added.

speed ferryThe choice of channel crossings offer all kinds of possibilities for a leisurely drive down, including the long cruise from Portsmouth to Bilbao in Spain, although Heches is driveable from Calais (using the autoroutes) in about 10 hours.

eurostarThe French rail network, SNCF, operates the high speed TGV train service which runs from Paris to Tarbes daily in under 6 hours, making the journey by train from St. Pancras (via Eurostar) only 10 hours.

Most guests like to drive their own cars or else rent one from the airport, as this gives them more freedom and flexibility throughout their holiday. Booking a car in advance via the internet ensures the best rates and minimises any delays on arrival. For those that do not have their own transport, we can arrange transfers from your point of arrival, subject to availability and for a local supplement, when booked in advance. Similarly, transport to and from any activities may also be arranged during your stay.
