Karen’s home cooking, using local produce as much as possible, provides welcome and mouth watering sustenance, combining regional cuisine with traditional English fare as well as international dishes. Local wine, (Madiran, Cahors, Jurancon, Bordeaux) always helps the meal along and contributes to the convivial atmosphere!
A simple but nourishing breakfast and a hearty 3 course dinner with wine and coffee keeps the guests satisfied, while once a week there is a trip to a local restaurant to give Karen a well deserved night off. In the summer there may be a barbeque around the pool or a pierrade on the terrace to add to the party atmosphere.
During the ski season a light afternoon tea is provided, with a choice of hot drinks and cakes or pastries. There is also the option of a packed lunch (made to order at a supplement) available all year round.
