  • All bookings will require a non-refundable deposit of €100 or £75 per person at the time of reservation. Telephone bookings will only be held for one week pending receipt of the deposit.  No contract shall exist between Pyrenees Mountain Holidays (hereafter referred to as “we”) and the client (the person or persons making the booking) until such time as a completed booking form and the appropriate deposit have been received.
  • We accept cash (sterling or euros), bank transfer (sterling or euros), UK cheque (payable to A & K Hoy), or most UK credit cards (a 2% surcharge will apply).  Our published prices are in euros. For those clients wishing to pay in sterling we use the prevailing exchange rate as published by www.reuters.co.uk  at the time of booking, which is then fixed for the whole booking. If a holiday is booked less than 6 weeks prior to departure, the full balance is payable on reservation (subject to cancellation charges as detailed). 
  • All balances due must be paid in full at least 6 weeks before the date of arrival. If the balance is not received by this time, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and retain the deposit.    
  • If for any reason you have to cancel your holiday, we will require immediate notification, supported in writing, and your deposit will be forfeit to cover our administration costs. Providing we have received written notice, the cancellation charges will be as follows:

  • If you have to make any amendments to a confirmed booking at any time, we will do our utmost to comply with your requests, subject to additional payments or refunds being agreed between the two parties. If this takes place less than 6 weeks before your scheduled arrival date, then we reserve the right to make cancellations as appropriate and apply the above scale of charges. 
  • In the unlikely event that we have to cancel or amend your holiday prior to arrival, for any reason other than force majeure, we will endeavour to find alternative arrangements on your behalf. Should we be unable to do so to your satisfaction, then we will offer a full refund of all amounts paid to us by yourselves, which will be in full and final settlement of any claim. 
  • If your stay at Le Turounet is cut short by us for any reason, we will refund a pro-rata amount, except in the case of unacceptable behaviour. If your holiday is terminated early by yourselves, for whatever reason, no refunds will be given.
  •  If, in our reasonable opinion, any member of your party is behaving in a way which causes or is likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others, or damage to property, we reserve the right to terminate your stay at Le Turounet, without recompense. Furthermore, you agree to fully meet any expenses incurred either by ourselves or any third party as a direct result of such behaviour.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage or breakages during their stay and all damages and breakages must be paid for before leaving Le Turounet.
  • Guests with children have total responsibility for their safety and well-being at all times and should be advised that the design and layout of the house and garden are such that it includes many steps, hard floor surfaces and some low walls, within a generally open plan design. The swimming pool is fitted with an alarm and a retractable cover (to meet French legal requirements), but is not enclosed and will only be open between 8.00am and 8.00pm, May to September.
  • We regret that certain activities or facilities may not always be available or possible, due to prevailing conditions or exceptional circumstances, and no guarantees are made or implied in his respect.
  • Bed linen, bath towels (for indoor use only) and dressing gowns are supplied for our guests, but it is recommended that you bring bathing towels and non-slip indoor shoes or slippers.  We can supply outdoor towels, if required,  at  a supplement of €5 per week each.
  • Breakfast and for those guests staying on a half board basis, a 4 course evening meal with wine and coffee are provided every day, except on Thursday evening , when half board guests can go out to sample the regional cuisine (at their own expense).   
  • For those guests staying on a bed and breakfast basis, the option of an evening meal can be booked for any night except Thursdays, at a cost of €20 per person (€12 for children under 11). We will, however, require at least 24 hours notice.
  • Tea and coffee are available throughout the day and evening. Guests are welcome to supply their own drinks (alcoholic or otherwise), for consumption during their stay (a fridge is available for the sole use of guests).  If you have any particular dietary or medical needs, please advise us at the time of booking and we will do our utmost to cater for all guests requirements.
  • Any additional costs, including activities, equipment hire, packed lunch or evening meals not booked and paid for in advance will be payable locally in euros.
  • All activities are undertaken at the guests own risk. For any activities that are conducted through a third party, the contract is made at the time of booking the activity between the two relevant parties and is not in any way the responsibility of Pyrenees Mountain Holidays.
  • For your own protection, we strongly recommend that you and all members of your party have suitable insurance for the full period of your holiday, including insurance to cover the costs of cancellation of your holiday and the costs of assisting you if you or your party has an accident or becomes ill. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is both suitable and adequate for your particular needs and covers any activities you may be undertaking. (Insurance is compulsory for snow sports).
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit to travel and to participate in any activities undertaken. You will need to provide suitable attire, although any specialist equipment required is usually provided by the organiser of that particular activity.
  • Rooms should be vacated by 10.30 on the day of departure and are not generally available before 14.00 on the day of arrival, although we can vary this by arrangement, depending on other guest’s requirements.
  • Whilst every attempt has been made to ensure that all the information on our web site is accurate and up to date, we cannot accept any responsibility for any inaccuracies contained or misleading information supplied by third parties.
  • All information supplied to us is for our own internal purposes only and will not be supplied to any third party without your expressed permission.
